The side view is quite cool with the beefed up sills, brake cooling inlets and the ground hugging aprons. In simple terms, a car with a sound and amazing look is the Porsche 911 GT2. With a 6 speed gearbox and a rear wheel drive it can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour within a mere 3.4 seconds. This car gives a wonderful look with the Audi Looking LED lights.
The dynamic rear view looks great with the vertical slats along with a fixed biplane wing and a pair of large diameter exhausts. The biplane wing helps create down force at high speeds that gives a better grip on the road. A startling fact with this Porsche is that even at speeds of 150 mph it seems that it’s going faster than 150 mph. It will take a driver a few days if not a few weeks to adapt to the adaptations this car requires. For the GT2 one needs to get ready for a fresh set of responses because there is something extra in everything about this car.
It takes sharper turns and decelerates quickly as well. The GT2 not only overrides the Turbo in Power Output but it is also much more melodious. For weight reduction the doors and trunk lid have an aluminum composition. Even an absence of rear seats has also been incorporated to enhance weight reduction measures. This Porsche has a 462 bhp engine which is the highest engine power of a 911 meant for road use. A cable operated gear lever helps reduce vibration to a great extent. All of us know that a car is best handled when its center of gravity lies at its center. But the 911 has always been famous for a rear mounted engine. Another reason is that when one sits inside he is there to balance the center of gravity by counteracting the weight of the engine. There is one astonishing factor too. Porsche engines are used in Helicopters because they say that it helps them stay up longer. So, this is undoubtedly an advantage for the engines as well. At times you can pull up and pass by without even changing a gear.
As for other Porsche versions safety has neither been compromised in this one too. Top class side airbags for drivers and passengers along with better safety equipments have been added to take care of the passengers effectively. ABS brakes have also been added as an added safety. The US market was longing for a 4 seated coupe like this one. With standard features like Cruise control, power mirror, climate control and power sunroof the Porsche 911 GT2 is really an awesome car in its class.
